When I got into his car, CS told me he need to run an errand at Mid Valley and endured a long hard nagging from me all the way, as I dreaded traffic jam. Miraculously, we reached there without much traffic jam eventhough it's just 2 days away from CNY.
When we got inside Midvalley, all he did was walking and searching around for San Francisco Steakhouse, and said he just wanna to give me a nice treat! Wow... sweet in the heart.....
Eventhough it's his treat, I still 'jaga' his purse, since we both have to give angpows to our mothers for CNY. Eventhough the wagyu steak looks tempting but at the price of RM80++ each, I ordered the Beef & Lamb set while CS went for sizzling steak and lamb only. Since I'm not keen with alcohol, the captain recommended a non alcoholic grape juice to us. It took them only about few minutes to serve the food.
The garlic bread priced at RM1.90 per piece is a good way to start the meal with.
My Beef & Lamb set (RM38.90). The beef was divinely nice but unfortunately the lamb was charred at some parts that gave it a bitter taste.
Sizzling Beef (RM32.90). We were expecting it to be a kind of steak, but no. The beef were already cut into smaller cubes and it was supposed to be wrapped in tortilla-like bread with cheese and some other dressings, which I forgot to take picture of. Overall it's quite nice too.
Our grape juice (RM45) turned out great. At RM45, of course this sparkling juice should turn out great.
CS even surprised me with a bouquet of 36 roses at the end of the dinner!
Putting aside that this is a place that CS did something romantic for me, I would still recommened San Francisco to all for their great services with really good beefs/steak. My eyes are next on their Wagyu Steaks!!
